How Ternmaps Works

Each surf break on the map has three LEDs. The number of lights tells you the size. The color tells you the quality.

Conditions update automatically every 10 minutes.

Reading the Lights

Size: Count the Lights

  • 1 lightSmall
  • 2 lightsMedium

Quality: Check the Color

  • Purple — All timeText your friend to come film.
  • Green — GoodYou should probably get out there.
  • Orange — OkaySurfable, but not great.
  • Red — BadHeavy wind, no swell, etc.
